General Information

Instrument:

Gemini VII 2390p analyzer

Description

Surface Area Analyzer

Location:

Room 6.28; Civil Engineering and Geosciences, Section Materials & Environment - Microlab

Key words:

BJH pore size distribution using adsorption isotherm, total pore volume, Langmuir, single- and multipoint BET, specific surface area, Nitrogen

Measured quantity:

Surface Area > 0.01 m^2/g, pore diameter range 1.7 - 300 nm

Main application:

This technique is used to determine surface area on solid material; singleand multipoint BET surface area, Langmuir surface area, pore volume, average pore size and pore size distribution, using N2 as the adsorbate.
